You will be traveling the World in Grade 7 Social Studies and creating a travelogue about your travels.
You should already have a web site with a welcome page introducing you as a World Traveler. This web site will only be visible on the school server and you may put your picture on it dressed as a World Traveler. In the Grade 7 S.S. folder there are some graphics that you may use to dress up your picture. Your face doesn't have to be visible. You may also create a word splash about traveling. However you choose to dress up your welcome page, you should leave it clear to the viewer that the website is about traveling the world.
Next create a page about the first country you will be traveling. This country will be in Africa or Asia and check with the teacher before making the final decision on your country. In choosing your country, the links below may be of use. On your 2nd page, have the following information
1. Describe the location of the country, include a map.
2. The size of the country, the population and population density
3. The gross domestic product and the gross domestic product/person
4. What climate(s) does the country have
5. Post a population pyramid of the country.
