Over the course of the past year, we have studied various issues. Some of them have been: Exploitation and the Chocolate Trade, The Impact of Tropical Storms and Global Warming, Poverty, Rights and the Rights of Children, Residential Schools and the Rights of First Nation People, Life in Developing Countries, Water, and Pollution. Pick a cause. It can be a cause we have studied, but it doesn't have to be. Have the teacher approve your cause. Then create something, be it a poster, movie (as shown in class), brochure, or . . . that educates people and gets them interested in your cause. We will develop a rubric in class to mark this assignment.
